Light Commercial Vehicles's
If you own a van or jeep (small goods vehicles that weigh 3,500 kg or less), you'll need a Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) test every year to renew your CRW.
Heavy Commercial Vehicle's
Must take a commercial vehicle test every year to renew their commercial vehicle certificate of roadworthiness. (Heavy goods vehicles that weigh greater than 3,500 kg).
Bus & Ambulance Test
The Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Test (CVRT )is a test for commercial vehicles but also for buses with more than 8 passenger seats and ambulances.

Our CVRT (DOE) Commercial Test Centre in Quartertown, Mallow Co. Cork, carries out inspections on behalf of the RSA on all Commercial Vehicles. These inspections are carried out annually on all LCV & HGV Commercial Vehicles. We have the latest equipment for testing
all commercials including small car/vans, mini buses, heavy trucks and PSVs.
